Slippage

'Slippage' acts as a point of distinction between the actual and the remembered. Thom Stuart's practice explores the landscape that is mapped between the aggregation of urban and natural, and the possible meeting and dissolving of these edges. Emily responded directly to these with abstract works informed by her experience of the lava fields in Hawaii and her subsequent re-occurring dreams following. โ

The exhibition concept comes to a point when viewers experience the work โ being presented side by side, and slippages occur between works as aspectss work extend into the otherโ€™ into the other. โ
